Report of the On-Site Training and National Workshop on Capacity Building for Coastal Resources Management

Abstract

The “On-site Training and National Workshop on Capacity Building for Coastal Resources Management” was organized at Trang Province, Thailand from 14-16 March 2006 by Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC), in collaboration with the Department of Fisheries (DOF), and Coastal Habitats and Resources Management Project (CHARM), Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR). The Workshop/Training was a sequence of the “Pilot Process” implementing with the support of Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) under project entitled “Human Resource Development (HRD) on the Support to the Implementation of the Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries in the ASEAN Region”.
