Significant advances were made in the development and standardization of diagnostic procedures for important viral diseases in shrimps and marine fish. Innovations in the conduct of our training programs were introduced. For the first time, AQD has delivered two distance learning courses serving more participants at much lesser cost. An aquafarmers forum, where inquiries or discussion on certain problems may be held on-line, was also launched. AQD further intensified the promotion and commercialization of aquaculture technologies with a broader range of collaborators, including government agencies and the private sector.en
