dc.description.abstractThe results are presented of procedures for the detoxification of paralytic shellfish poisoning toxin using ozone, chlorine and PVP-iodine. Findings indicate ozone and PVP-iodine to effectively inactivate the toxins isolated from Perna viridis ; however, further investigations are recommended.en
