dc.description.abstractThe objective of the JAIF project “Enhancing Sustainable Utilization and Management Scheme of Tropical Anguillid Eel Resources in Southeast Asia” is to strengthen the resource management framework for sustainable tropical anguillid eel fi sheries in ASEAN Member States (AMSs). The activities of this project on tropical anguillid eels are to: a) survey the utilization; b) estimate abundance of eel stocks; c) describe the genetic population structure; d) refi ne culture techniques to improve the survival rate from glass eel to elver; and e) formulate resource management policies for AMSs.en
