Moreover, regional events were organized, including the “Regional Workshop on Gender Mainstreaming in Fisheries in Southeast Asia” which highlighted the efforts of SEAFDEC in promoting gender mainstreaming through organizational initiatives and project integration. The “Regional Seminar on the Progress of Fish Stock Assessment” provided updates on stock assessments and related activities in the region. The “Core Expert Meeting on Research for the Enhancement of Sustainable Utilization and Management of Sharks and Rays” was also conducted.
