Country paper: Thailand. Part 2: General trends in the fishery sector

Abstract
Following an account of the contribution of the Thai fishery sector to the national economy, details are given of the results of the various marine fishery censuses conducted in 1967, 1985 and 1995. Other surveys covered include: log book survey, fishing community survey, coastal culture survey, specialized survey, and inland fishery production survey.
