Abstract

During the third quarter, SEAFDEC organized two major regional policy-related events. The first was the Workshop to Validate the Midterm Progress of the RES&POA-2030 Implementation, which reviewed challenges and best practices of the ASEAN Member States in implementing the RES&POA-2030. The second focused on the ASEANSEAFDEC Common Position for CITES CoP20, providing a platform to exchange views and technical information among the ASEAN-SEAFDEC Member Countries on proposed listings of commercially exploited aquatic species.
