Report of the On-Site Training and National Workshop on Human Resource Development for Responsible Coastal Resources Management, Satun Province, Thailand

Abstract

The “On-site Training and National Workshop on Human Resource Development for Responsible Coastal Resources Management was organized in Satun Province, Thailand from 14-16 March 2006 by Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) in collaboration with the Department of Fisheries (DOF) and local organizations in Satun Province. The Training was a sequence of the “Pilot Process” implementing with the support of Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), under ASEAN-SEAFDEC Fisheries Consultative Program as part of the project “Regionalization of the Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries, project entitled “Human Resource Development (HRD) on the Support to the Implementation of the Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries in the ASEAN Region”.
