Quarterly Report No.1 Oct-Dec 2001 of Locally Based Coastal Resource Management in Pathew District, Chumphon Province (LBCRM-PD)

Abstract

This is a quarterly report of the activities of the LBCRM-PD (Locally Based Coastal Resource Management in Pathew Districts, Chumporn Province), during the period from October to December 2001. During this period, members of the working group finalized a draft of the project proposal for LBCRM-PD, and submitted it to the Department of Fisheries (DOF) and SEAFDEC/TD. We received final approval from both on 9 November 2002. Preparation and adjustments were major tasks. One highlight of this quarter was a study trip to the Philippines by staff from TD and Chumporn Marine Fisheries Development Center. This quarterly report includes the minutes of the important meeting and outlines of the study trip.
