Regional survey of pesticide residues in fish and fish products: Malaysia

Abstract
The study was conducted to determine the level of pesticide residues in fish and fish products in Malaysia. The fish product samples comprised surimi that were made of threadfin bream (Nemipterus virgatus) and big eye snapper (Lutjanus lutjanus), fish ball, frozen shrimps (Penaeus vannamei and Penaeus monodon) and frozen squid (Loligo spp.).
