Abstract
The paper provides the methodology of the determination of methyl esters of fatty acids by gas chromatographic method. Methyl esters of fatty acids from fish and animal fats having 8-24 carbon atoms are separated and determined by gas chromatography. The apparatus, reagents and operating conditions are presented. Detailed procedures of the analysis of the sample are also provided.
