dc.description.abstract | Pristipomoides multidens (Day), usually considered a synonym of P. typus Bleeker, is shown to be a valid species of lutjanid fish. Existence of yellow bands on snout and cheek, transverse vermiculations on interorbital region, wider suborbital width, stronger canines, and thicker 1st hemal spine characterize P. multidens from P. typus. | en |
