Abstract
The Locally Based Coastal Resource Management project was implemented since 2002. The overall objectives are to achieve the community-based management for sustainable coastal fishery resources and to alleviate poverty in coastal communities, with particular emphasis on women’s groups. The pilot project started in Thailand and transferred to Malaysia and Cambodia respectively.
